ABOUT

Hepz has been working as a professional vocal coach and piano tutor for the past 16 years, after graduating from the London College of Music. Her one-to-one lessons are tailored to suit each student’s individual needs. She is a firm believer that every voice is unique and requires different techniques and vocal qualities to nurture. She aims to encourage strong technique, as well as developing students sight reading and aural abilities. She is experienced in teaching various musical genres that include Classical, Pop, Musical Theatre and Jazz.

Hepz is passionate about musical collaboration and improvisation and likes to encourage her students to explore these as much as possible. Her aim is to provide confidence and technique to her students so that they leave her lesson feeling positive.

Hepz has experience in entering students for ABRSM, Trinity, LCM and Rock School exams. She has a 100% pass rate with many of her students receiving distinctions.

Giving the opportunity to teach children music is something very rewarding to Hepz as music has always been her first passion. Hepz has also worked as a classroom music teacher at several Independent and State schools. She is fully qualified to help prepare students for GCSE Music Exams and has a strong understanding of the syllabus.

As a voice tutor Hepz feels there are always ways to improve her teaching standards. She is always enrolling in singing courses to help improve her professional development.
